In January 2007 we distributed several items to the children of the Shree Surya Jyoti Primary School in Bettyani. The children received new sandals, two pairs of socks, a toothbrush and toothpaste. We also added writing materials, enough to last  a few months.

Samantha handed out the items to the children. They all received a red tika by the chairman of the school committee. The sandals were fitted to make sure all children received the correct size. Everyone was super happy with this treat and we noticed that the next day all children were proudly wearing their new sandals with blue socks.
