To carry out our projects we follow a number of important guidelines. We stick to our promises, all our projects are fully completed, and donations are spend effectively. Please read below more about the way we operate:

1) Negotiate a fair price:
The fairest possible price is negotiated for all items purchased. Due to our experience, we have a thorough knowledge of the costs of various materials and also where to purchase the materials. This helps us to agree a good price with the relevant retailers/wholesalers.

2) Donations are spent directly and effectively:
Expenditures for the projects are paid directly to local retailers. There is no intervention from third parties and this means that we full control over our expenses. Flight ticket costs and accommodation costs are covered by the Laxmi Support volunteers themselves. Taxi costs in Nepal and the rental of the jeep for visiting the schools are reimbursed from the sponsorship money. 3) Guarantees good feedback to sponsors:
We strive for openness and transparency of our activities and expenditure in Nepal. Several times a year we send out an email newsletter with information about our projects. We also maintain a Facebook page with general news from Nepal and news from our projects. Find all our newsletters here.

4) Makes maximum use of local recources:
We aim to purchase the items locally and use local workers as much as possible for each project. In this way we support the local economy and community.
